  Section 1: Technical Issues

Q: The game runs slow and choppy. How can I speed it up?
A: Shutting down background tasks and antivirus software can greatly improve the speed and performance of Free the Floopians: Level Mania. If the game still suffers from slowdown, change the game's screen resolution to a smaller value like 800x600 or 640x480 in the launcher's settings tab. Switching from High Quality textures to Medium Quality textures will also give you a speed increase, with a small decrease in the visual quality of the game.

Q: The game crashes frequently or doesn't start at all.
A: Outdated sound and video drivers could lead to slowdowns and crashes, and can even stop the game from working altogether.
Always ensure that you have the most current video and sound drivers for your hardware.
The list below will take you to various sites that have all the major drivers and updates for the most popular cards.

Advanced Gravis http://www.gravis.com
ATI Technologies Inc.http://www.atitech.ca
Creative Labshttp://www.creaf.com
Diamond Multimedia & S3 http://www.sonicblue.com
Intel Corp.http://www.intel.com
Logitechhttp://www.logitech.com
Microsofthttp://www.microsoft.com
nVidiahttp://www.nvidia.com

Q: I have a gamepad but the game doesn't detect it.
A: Please ensure that the the gamepad is configured and working properly. Click on Start, then select Settings, Control Panel and finally Gaming Options . If your gamepad isn't listed or a message saying there's a problem with your controller appears, re-installing the drivers should usually solve the issue.
Another issue could arise if you have more than one controller plugged in. Remove the other controller and restart the game.

Q: After loading the game I can only see half of the game screen on my monitor. What's up with that?
A: This is an issue we have discovered with certain video card drivers. To solve this problem, exiting the game and restarting usually works. Also, updating certain video drivers might remove this problem.

 Section 2: Gameplay issues

Q: The radar shows a lever in front of me, but I can't find it!
A: The radar shows all nearby levers and buttons, even those above and below you. If the radar shows a lever in front of you and you can't find it, try looking for it in the same spot above or below the section you are currently on. If you still can't find it, it might be a hidden lever. If this is the case, try searching all the rocks and stalagmites in the area.

Q: I pulled a lever that read 'Move Path Piece', but it dropped a bomb on me instead! Is this a bug?
A: No. If you take a close look at the colour of the lever you will see that it is red. Overall, red levers and buttons are there to mislead you and are just generally bad!
